Belgian Model 1880 sawback bayonet

Well made sword bayonet with sawback for Pioneer/Engineer use in the field to cut brush and saplings. One of only two sawback bayonets used by Belgium this version has a lighter fullered blade. Ricasso is GB marked for Gouvernment Belge (Belgian Army use) and rampant lion. Opposite side shows Crown over FL and date of 1888 with serial number on crossguard. Very good overall condition with brass mounted leather scabbard.
