Description

Original German WWII 1884/98 III bayonet. German WWII bayonet for Kar 98k rifle. Maker marked Carl Eickhorn on ricasso with 40 on spine for date 1940. Bakelite grips in very good condition. Issued and used with some surface corrosion evident on pommel. Blade is lightly sharpened and reblued post war, very good condition. Scabbard painted black and number does not match bayonet. Two dents in back of scabbard as shown in photo.
