Shortened blade during Weimar period resulting in needle like pointing to the blade. Maker marked Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Cie, Solingen with knight’s head logo on opposite side. Crossgaud has Weimar era police unit markings, also visible on scabbard but not matching. Overall very good condition with plating intact and not flaking. Stag horn grips are sound and tight and show replacement of the grip eagle with a WW2 era membership badge making this unique and researchable. Correct era leather frog is unmarked and shows signs of cracking at the frog stud.
