Bayonet for Lee Metford or Long Lee Enfield rifles. Mk I Second type with cleanout hole in handle. Clearly maker marked SANDERSONSHEFFIELD and dated 9 ‘ 96. WD marked on opposite side with proof and bend mark. Right grip is unit marked C68. Blade in very good condition. Complete with scabbard in good condition. Scabbard throat unit marked 24 over 158.
