US Model 1917 bayonet for the US Model 1917 Enfield rifle. Manufactured by Remington and nicely marked on ricasso. 17 inspector mark with clear flaming bomb, Eagle head, bend mark and U.S. marking. Wooden grip in very good condition. Pommel shows some pitting. Scabbard has belt hanger wire and is painted green for WWII use. Home Guard leather belt hanger slides onto the scabbard. Issued and used, very good condition overall.
