Description

Original German WWI butcher bayonet with steel scabbard and leather belt frog. Original, very good condition. Unusual maker marking on ricasso. Uncommon maker Frister & Rossmann, Berlin. ACT.GES.VORM above maker name. The so called “dancing men” logo is overstamped by J. A. Henckels, probably the company that did the final assembly of the bayonet from parts supplied by subcontractors. Quite uncommon and very researchable.
