This is a British made P1907 bayonet (WSC Wilkinson Sword) that has been shortened in India to a 12 inch blade during the Second World War for use on the No. 1 Mk III (SMLE ) rifle. The Indian army preferred the shorter bayonets and added a short false edge near the tip. It has been post WWII refurbished and reblued. No scabbard.
