All metal twisted steel ersatz bayonet produced as an emergency measure during World War One to fit the 1888 and 1890 Mannlicher rifle. Original, as found condition, sold as is. Steel scabbard has period green paint remaining as shown in photo. Ref. Kiesling No. 136
