Original Brown Bess India Pattern musket, 39 inch barrel. Nicely marked lock. Lock works and strong spring. Reinforced cock complete with original flint. Excellent condition with numerous stampings in wooden stock visible. Stock in very good condition, Crown over Broad Arrow and date 1805 stamped into butt stock. Stock has proof marks in the wood opposite the touch hole. Bore is excellent with no corrosion. Best condition Brown Bess musket we have ever seen. Antique, no licence required to purchase or own.
