Receiver clearly marked Crown over V.R., Enfield 1873. British war department marked with numerous proofs on barrel. Checkered steel butt plate with WD broad arrow and Enfield proof on top. Enfield stock cartouche is clear. Bore is very good condition, bright with strong rifling and evidence of frosting which is light corrosion. No cleaning rod.
