1942 dated 2 pounder round headstamped 2pr No. 2 with I indicating Mk 1 case for Mk 1 and 2 guns. Clearly marked headstamp complete with fired and inert primer still in the case. Projectile is unfired armour piercing AP solid shot. Marked on driving band AP 2 Pr VIT STC 8872 BS B55E dated 6-42 and followed by maker mark JJB R1.
