					<description><![CDATA[<p>Converted from a 1916 Carl Gustafs manufactured M1896 retaining the straight bolt handle. 6.5 X 55. Wood and metal finish are very good plus. Bore appears excellent, shiny, sharp rifling and tight muzzle. Matching numbers except front barrel band and nose cap. Equipped with the early Vasteras micrometer rear sight insert. Missing the cleaning rod.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Late 1960’s conversion by Beretta for Denmark where it was known as M/50. Barrel is new marked SIAU 1967 M P  produced and proofed by Society Italiana Army Udine in 1967. Chambers and ejects flawlessly using standard Garand 8 shot clips. In unissued condition with only a few slight blemishes in the wood from storage &#38; handling. Features factory flash hider. Excellent condition specimen of this rare official conversion.</p>

<p>Wood transit chest is Canadian 1943 manufacture. Rifle, scope and chest appears unissued in excellent condition. Butt is Normal length. Complete with correct 1907 leather sling and leather scope cover. Butt trap contains original pull through and plastic oil bottle. One of the finest examples we have seen.</p>

Chip out of top handguard. Cleaning rod is a reproduction. Bore is good to very good, dark with strong rifling. There is an “X” lightly cut into the top of the barrel ahead of the rear sight as shown in photo. Comes with original period leather sling with date 1899 and MOD in triangular logo.</p>
