Description

28 inch barrel. Bore is very good, dark with strong rifling and tight muzzle. No butt cartouche or any stampings. Mk. III rear sight (installed from Sept. 1907 to May 1909). Front barrel band has no bayonet lug or stacking swivel bracket. No rear sling swivel has been installed. Appears to be a private purchase rifle from the factory.
