Manufactured circa 1920 during the Post WW1 Weimar Republic era in Germany for use by Veteran’s Associations, specifically for use by Prussian veterans as flag finials during ceremonial occasions, parades and commemorative events. The Iron Cross in the centre of the finial held symbolic significance and is very researchable. Excellent workmanship, guilded brass construction 8 ½ inches long with threaded base intact for fastening to flag pole. 8 ½ inches long.
