Short cavalry carbine bayonet for the Mannlicher M1895 Cavalry Carbine, called the S1895 or Stutzen 1895 comes with a sight blade dovetailed into the top of the muzzle ring to compensate for the weight of the bayonet on the aiming of the rifle. Ricasso marked with two headed eagle of the Austro-Hungarian empire and an unrecognized marking on the opposite side. Steel scabbard bears original grey paint and makers marking on the frog stud.
