Description

Used by Pioneers within infantry battalions, serving as a weapon and a tool for clearing brush and cutting wood with the sawback. Overall 27 ¼ inches, blade 22 3/8 inches with sawback in very good condition. The stitching has come apart the entire length of the scabbard as shown in photo. No markings on sword or scabbard.
