Original British Lead Cutter training sword used to improve swordsman’s technique by swinging the heavy blade onto lead for practice. Maker marked MOLE Birmingham (BIRMm), dated 1902 (’02) . Opposite side has British broad arrow, Birmingham proof and bend test mark. Complete with scabbard in very good original condition with Birmingham proof on leather. Blade length is 31 ¼ inches, overall length 36 inches and weight 3.5 pounds.
