US Model 1917 bayonet for the US Model 1917 Enfield rifle. Manufactured by Remington and nicely marked on ricasso Remington 1917 with flaming bomb over US, eagle head, bend mark and inspector marking 13. The Model 1917 bayonet fit both the US M1917 Enfield rifle (30-06) and the British P14 rifle (303 British). This bayonet has belt loops ground off the scabbard and was carried on the belt in a web or leather frog for home front use. Scabbard has green finish leather stamped Jewel 1918, WCB. Bayonet and scabbard in VG+ original condition.
