German Schu Mine with framed document

Original German WWII wooden Schu Mine (Schutzenmine 42). An anti-personnel mine made of wood and very difficult to locate with mine detectors. This specimen is a souvenir of the 10th Field Squadron Royal Canadian Engineers and is thoroughly decorated with insignia including a bucking bronco stamping on the German battle flag. Original maker mark “htk” still visible on the lid of the mine. Comes with a framed document listing the Battle Honours for this regiment 1940 – 1945. Document is original, good condition with some old water damage to top right corner of document.
