A uniform dagger worn by member of Italian Fascist Youth organization. 11 inches overall length, 6 inch blade. This specimen has original factory applied white enamel paint on grip and grip wire. The eagle’s head pommel and feather design backstrap are in very good condition. Ferrule is ornate floral design. Blade is very good with with 4 ¼ edge on bottom and 2 ¾ edge on top. No nicks on the edge. Likely intended for a junior leader rank. Leather scabbard for these daggers are from the M1891 steel mounted leather bayonet with the leather cut to fit the dagger blade and rivets in place of chape, no locket but a leather belt loop riveted to the back for wear.
