Interesting variant of the Ross Rifle bayonet. Sold out of service Ross bayonets were commercially reworked as hunting knives. Original scabbard was shortened. This item was made from a 1916 manufactured bayonet and shows some corrosion on the blade visible in photo. The scabbard is fastened backwards into the belt loop with the large seam facing outward as worn.
