Interesting hand made pattern iron bayonet from India or the Baker, and later the Brunswick rifle. Circa 1800’s. Hand engraved hilt suggests image of an early East India Company lion. Guaranteed original, VG condition overall with some pitting on blade at ricasso showing issue and use. All steel 21 7/8 inch blade with 5 3/4 inch long false edge. 1 3/16 inches wide at hilt and 1/4 inch thick. Tight and well made, a fascinating artifact of the early firearms trade.
