Description

Iconic model British World War One rod grenade fired from an infantry rifle using a blank, grenade launching cartridge. The No. 3 and No. 20 rod grenades are almost identical in appearance but there is a difference in the shape of the brass base piece. Cutaway item as shown in photos. The cutting is not an “official” modification but likely the reaction of an over-sensitive collector to the unreasonable ignorance of the state.
