The Type 3 was a conversion of early types for Mk VII ammunition. The magazine case was modified by removing the left hand feed lip and a new lip was riveted in place. The right hand feed lip retains the rotating feed lip like the earlier models. There were changes to the follower and auxiliary spring as well. Spine is clearly marked with the number 3 to indicate the conversion. An uncommon magazine. PAL required to purchase.
