]]> Vickers 7.65 x 53 Argentine 24 inch barrel https://collectorssource.ca/product/vickers-7-65-x-53-argentine-24-inch-barrel/ Sat, 25 Apr 2026 23:01:59 +0000 https://collectorssource.ca/?post_type=product&p=44561 According to Dolf Goldsmth the 24 inch short barrel was used with a special Class C ground gun with short water jacket and 24 inch barrel intended for the army but used as motorcycle sidecar armament for the Presidential palace. The total of this order was only 24 guns, making this an exceedingly uncommon item. This barrel is marked RA for Republic of Argentina. Proof marked 7.65 NITRO PROOVED. Marked V.A.C. unsure of meaning. Bore is very good, bright with some darkening in grooves, strong rifling.
