					<description><![CDATA[<p>Worn on the front of the M1916/17 German Stalhelm as protection against projectiles and shrapnel. Hangs on the “horns” of the helmet and fastened in place by leather strap that runs around the back of the helmet and is held by the protruding rivet at the rear. This specimen is original as found and has one half of the fastening strap. Marking inside right side is the number 1 then a symbol and the number 7. Guaranteed original and rings like a church bell when struck by a rubber mallet.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>We imported this helmet directly from Finland in early 2000’s. These helmets were manufactured in Germany under contract to Finland during WWII (Continuation War 1941-1944) when Finland fought alongside Germany against Russia. Officially called the Finnish Model M40/55, supply continued post war and was used until the 1980’s. Finnish leather liner and chin strap. Original grey coloured paint with wear evident. No markings on helmet shell. Liner size marked 5?, or small. Liner has Finnish soldiers name written in ink.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>1945 manufactured Turtle Shell shaped helmet that replaced the D-Day Mk III helmet of the same design. The Mk4 had chinstrap rings riveted lower down on the helmet for more stable wear and used a “lift the dot” fastener for the helmet liner. Original, maker marked B13 Mk4. Comes with Canadian two tone helmet net in VG condition.</p>

					<description><![CDATA[<p>Original Cuirassier style helmet worn by French Dragoons from the post Franco Prussian War into early World War One. Helmet shell is bright steel with lobster tail at rear. Very good condition with very some small spots of minor corrosion. Flaming grenade on front plate has one small dent as shown in photo. Helmet liner is present, original colour inside the helmet shell and in good condition. No markings except for what appears to be a letter C at the back of the brass rim lining the shell. Horse hair and plume show wear and tear but are in good condition.</p>
