The Reichsrevolver was the official sidearm of the German Army from 1879 to 1908. This model is the 1883 with barrel length 118mm and overall 270mm. Calibre is 11mm German Ordnance Revolver cartridge, 6 shots and this is an Antique firearm. Manufactured at Erfurt Arsenal with Crown over ERFURT and manufacture date 1894. All parts are numbered and match the serial number of the revolver. Very good original condition. Never cleaned. Cylinders are brite, bore is very good with a couple of dark spots. Indexes properly and everything is tight. Regimental markings on back of grip strap. No lanyard ring. Antique, no licence required to purchase or own.
