Flare Gun No. 4 Mk 1* RAF use

1 1/2 inch (37mm) Flare pistol typically manufactured by Webley & Scott. Designed for use on RAF aircraft during WWII with distinctive locking lugs on the end of the barrel so it could be locked into a firing port on the fuselage of the aircraft before firing. Original, used condition, this flare pistol was never finely finished. Marked No. 4 Mk 1* with a serial number and some stamps on the frame but no maker name.
